Energy firm says that changes will purchase effect from March,as it becomes the third of the big suppliers to announce a price drop this year Scottish Power has said it will cut gas prices for existing customers by 5.4% on 15 March, fitting the third of the big suppliers to do so this year.
The company said a million of its 3.2 million customers – those on its standard gas tariff – will see their bills topple by an average of £32 a year. The cut will not affect those on fixed-rate, and dual-fuel tariffs.
