Pensioners and others who qualify for help to meet higher winter fuel bills are not being paid until terminate of February or MarchVulnerable people are waiting too long for help with their heating bills through the Warm Homes reduction Scheme,according to one claimant who says he has to borrow money to keep warm.
Discounts of £140 are available to people on pensions credits and other benefits under the scheme, which is designed to help the poorest customers with higher electricity bills in winter.
